It was a good gig and yes the set is pretty different to normal. I thought the people that came really enjoyed themselves and you know Dean really loved playing those small country towns too and getting a kick out of bringing some punk rock to a rural area. thanx for coming along and rockin' out nondisclosed_email@example.com (Adalita X)Tue, 20 Oct 2009 20:01:22 +0000 castertonhttps://bmdfriendsinforum.runboard.com/p1010,from=rss#post1010https://bmdfriendsinforum.runboard.com/p1010,from=rss#post1010went to the gig at casterton on friday the 16th. cheers to magic dirt for putting on a really great show with a lot of feeling. the sound was really excellent! the crowd was pretty small however i know there were at least a couple of long time fans that left with a great feeling, and some new fans born. it was really great to see a small rural town like casterton get some quality australian music brought to their door step. i very much enjoyed the selection of songs! it was very different to the set i saw only a few months earlier before the death of Dean. perhaps all the raw feelings guided the set list and promoted feeling? it felt to me like celebration, mourning and rock n roll! who knows but thanks for another great night Magic Dirt.nondisclosed_email@example.com (glenn Mckenzie)Sun, 18 Oct 2009 12:45:13 +0000
